# Rescheduling and Cancelling

If you’d like to reschedule your event, please follow these guidelines:

* You can reschedule if the new date is one hour after the original date.
* If the new date is more than one hour into the future, you’ll need to request the event again.

If you would like to cancel your event, you can always do it. 

#### In Game Event

* Send a ":m This event has been cancelled due to \[REASON]." message in game.
* Send a message in the Discord Events channel too.

#### Discord Event

* Send a message in the Discord Events channel.

-> Example: "This event has been cancelled due to lack of attendees."
